Jillian and Cameron’s wedding was a breathtaking celebration of love and elegance, perfectly showcased at PINE.
The wedding day began with a flurry of excitement and preparation. Jillian, a former event planner, entrusted 828 Planning to relieve any and all stress on her special day. Opting for the month-of coordination package, Jillian meticulously planned every detail, including the thirty signature Anthropologie volcano candles she brought to ensure the venue smelled amazing.
Being able to plan the event herself and have 828 Planning help wrap up the final details as the date grew closer, and of course, execute the day-of was the perfect balance for Jillian.
While the bride added a touch of light blue to her attire with bow-adorned shoes, Cameron and his 12 groomsmen turned PINE’s mezzanine into a man cave, enjoying corn hole, an endless tub of beers, and watching Vanderbilt beat Alabama in football.
First Looks and Photographs: Capturing the Magic
The emotional first looks were unforgettable. Jillian shared a touching first look with her father, followed by a heartfelt moment with Cameron. The couple exchanged letters, reading back-to-back, and expressing their deep love for each other. These moments were beautifully captured, setting the tone for the day.
Officially Tying the Knot
The ceremony took place amidst a stunning setup of white flowers and baby’s breath, complemented by black table linens. Their dog, Memphis, played a special role, charming guests as she ran down the aisle to join the couple. Cameron’s dad officiated, adding personal and humorous touches, making the ceremony both heartfelt and memorable.
Cocktail Hour: A Time to Relax and Celebrate
Following the ceremony, Jillian and Cameron cherished some alone time, sipping champagne, enjoying gluten-free hors d’oeuvres, and sharing a secret present from Cameron. Guests mingled throughout PINE, enjoying delicious pineapple mint mojitos — the couple’s specialty cocktail — and remaining entertained by a saxophone player from Split Second Sound.
Dinner, Dancing, and Delightful Moments
For the reception, the couple incorporated their black and white theme seamlessly, including a cohesive array of printed materials, from the seating chart to the napkins. Dinner tables were adorned with candles and flowers, creating an elegant atmosphere. The grand entrance was spectacular, with cold sparklers provided by the DJ, leading into Jillian and Cameron’s first dance to “How Long Will I Love You” by Ellie Goulding. For dessert, a delicious display of chocolate cakes, cookies, and mini churro donuts were available for guests to enjoy.
Special Touches: Personal Accents and Fun Activities
Cameron’s must-have, the saxophone player, continued to entertain guests through dinner. Both the bride and groom ensured a fun-filled evening, changing into comfortable shoes as soon as the party began to be able to dance the night away. They worked with their DJ to curated a playlist featuring their favorite Justin Timberlake songs, keeping the dance floor lively.
Speeches and Sentimental Moments
Jillian’s dad delivered a touching speech, sharing anecdotes from her childhood and expressing his love for her. Cameron’s mom requested a special moment alone with her son, adding to the day’s sentimental moments. Rya, their 828 Planner, praised the couple’s kind and laid-back nature, making the planning process smooth and enjoyable.
Send-Off: A Stylish Grand Exit
As the night drew to a close, Jillian and Cameron made a grand exit in Cameron’s red Ferrari. Guests cheered as he revved the engine, sending the couple off in style to their honeymoon in Greece. Their wedding day at PINE was a perfect blend of elegance, personal touches, and unforgettable moments, creating a day they—and their guests—will cherish forever.
