The One Where PINE Hosts Its First Wedding

On a beautiful North Carolina summer evening, Emily & Ben celebrated their marriage with 180 of their closest friends and family! The couple met and now live in Charlotte, making PINE the perfect backdrop for their special day.

Emily and Ben were trailblazers, being among the first to book PINE before our construction was completed. They placed their trust in 828 Planning, opting for our Partial Planning package, to ensure they had hands-on assistance every step of the way to craft their perfect day.

The couple utilized our in-house copper arch, hedge walls, and pipe and drape to frame their ceremony beautifully. The hedge walls and copper arch created an elegant yet simple backdrop, while the pipe drape artfully sectioned the room from ceremony to reception.

Choosing PINE, an exciting new venue unlike anything they had seen in the Charlotte area, was a must for Emily and Ben. Even while under construction, the couple was captivated by the space’s charm.

Their wedding took place on a Friday of the 4th of July weekend, a special time for Emily and her sisters, adding an extra layer of meaning to the celebration. Their color scheme embraced clean blue and white tones with gold accents and simple florals, reflecting the couple’s sophisticated taste.

The ceremony was the day’s centerpiece, featuring heartfelt readings, hymns, and officiating by their beloved friends and family. The joy and excitement continued into the night as guests danced away with ATG Entertainment, creating unforgettable memories.
